Chatting over your documents

Ask questions about your own documents and get answers grounded in them, with citations you can check.

Bring a document into the conversation

1. Upload a file from the message box, or select Add from library to attach one you’ve already saved.

2. Ask about it, “summarise this”, “what are the payment terms?”, “list the action points”.

3. Answers include citations. Select one to jump straight to the passage it came from.

Chat directly with a document

From your document library, you can also open a document and choose Chat with document to start a focused conversation about just that file.

Tip

Anything you upload in a conversation is saved to your library automatically, so you can reuse it later without uploading it again.

Attaching several documents

You can attach more than one document to a conversation. The assistant draws on all of them and cites whichever it uses, so you can compare or cross-reference across files.
