Test before you publish

The editor has a built-in test panel so you can try an assistant as you build it, nothing you test is live until you publish.

Test as you edit

Open the Test (or Chat) panel beside the editor and talk to the assistant. It runs your draft: your unpublished changes, so you see the effect of an edit immediately. Adjust instructions, knowledge, or settings and try again.

What to check

• Does it stay in scope and follow its instructions?
• Are answers grounded in the knowledge, with citations?
• Do its tools do the right thing, and do write actions ask for approval?
• Does it handle missing information gracefully?

Note

The test panel uses the draft, so it’s the safe place to experiment. Users keep seeing the published version until you publish your changes.
