Building Assistants

An assistant is a helper built for a job, with its own persona, knowledge, tools, and settings. This lane covers building one from first idea to published, governed helper.

Building assistants needs the Assistant Creator role (or ownership of the assistant). Your administrator grants this.

The shape of the work

1. Define: persona and instructions, the model, and the knowledge it can draw on.
2. Extend: give it tools and connectors, or turn it into tasks and forms.
3. Test: try it in the built-in test panel while you edit.
4. Publish: commit your changes as a version, ready for the teams you assign.
